Laura Campbell has more than two decades of experience launching and growing businesses – as an entrepreneur, a venture capitalist, a strategist and a corporate communicator for both public and private companies. During her career she has assisted more than 500 businesses and start-ups in their growth and development, as well as guided hundreds of executive coaching clients.

Ms. Campbell’s background includes serving as the first female Partner of one of the South’s first venture capital firms, Nashville-based Massey Burch Capital Corp. As a member of the investment committee for nearly a decade, she evaluated new ventures, advised companies regarding their business plans and identities, and assisted in managing the portfolio of investments.

As CEO since 1997 of her business growth advisory firm, Laura Campbell & Associates, Ms. Campbell has served an international clientele. The firm supports clients in areas including strategic planning; executive coaching; sales and business development; fundraising strategy and investor relations; and marketing and communications.

An avid mentor and active philanthropist, Ms. Campbell strongly believes in giving back to the community and next generation of entrepreneurs. Her contributions include founding the Nashville Health Care Council, a highly successful organization created to support the growth and collaboration of new, existing and relocating businesses. In addition to mentoring for the Nashville Entrepreneur Center and Launch Tennessee, she has served on the boards of numerous businesses. Ms. Campbell is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Rice University, where she was a Board of Governors Scholar.
